I initially decided to start this group at UW-Parkside in an effort to make students more aware of the issues with the food system with a focus on vegetarian & vegan cooking. We want to get people to become passionate about their food by growing their own food, cooking new dishes from various cultures, and going to various restaurants, especially those that use vegetarian, organic, and/or local ingredients.
We are foodies with a passion for raw and living food! We are from all lifestyles-raw, raw curious, vegan, vegetarian, flexigarian, locavore, omnivore & carnivore! We are a site for sharing resources, opportunities and knowledge pertaining to the benefits and delights of raw and living food, healthy living and healing. We hold potlucks of raw and living foods once a month usually at members homes. Everyone is invited! JOIN US!!
