The Vegetarian Resource Group again has arranged a sumptuous culinary treat for all who would like to celebrate World Vegetarian Day with like-minded people. It will happen on Saturday, October 4, at 5 pm, at Mr. Chan's Szechuan Restaurant, 1000 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208. The cost is $20.00 per person, $9.50 for children 12 and under. Please reserve by September 22, 2008.

This all-vegan Chinese dinner will include the following: Vegetarian Sushi, Veggie Hot & Sour Soup or Veggie Wonton Soup, Tofu with Eggplant & Basil, Yuba with Kale & Edamame, Crispy Orange Seitan, Vegetable Lo Mein, Garlic Szechuan Broccoli, and Tea. The menu is subject to change.

The price includes tax & tip. To make your reservations, please call the VRG office at (410) 366-8343 Monday through Friday between 9 am and 5 pm with your VISA or MasterCard by September 22, 2008. You can also mail your payment by September 20th to The Vegetarian Resource Group, P.O. Box 1463, Baltimore, MD 21203. Please make your check payable to VRG and include your phone number. Refunds will only be made if VRG can replace your seat with another attendee. Make reservations early, as space is limited!
