Join the South Florida veg'ns for a night of food, fun and dancing at Taverna Opa.

Taverna Opa is an authentic Greek restaurant; that means delicious Greek cuisine (menu includes veg'n options), drinks, meze and even dancing on tables ! Don't know how ? Don't worry, one of the belly dancers will show you.

Location:
Taverna Opa is located one block north of Hollywood Blvd on A1A.

Parking:
The restaurant offers valet parking. If you'd rather self-park and don't mind a short walk, there is a nearby parking garage or you might be able to find a meter on the East side of A1A.

      “ First of all, I would like to thank everyone who attended this event for being so patient, understanding and helpful. Even I agree it was a “less-than-ideal” setting, but your attitude was great and made things a lot easier for Jose and I as we tried to work out details with our server, etc… I hope that you enjoyed the food and had a good time dancing. I also want to give the new members a proper welcome. I didn’t get a chance to speak very much with you. Hopefully you are not scared and will come to a future event !! Thanks again ! You are all wonderful. ”

      “ Loved the food, the dancing, and the music. Some said it was a little loud but it was all well worth it. I think Liz does such an awsome job and I think it would be neat also to help her because it is a lot of work, as it seems... I hope she can communicate in the ways/things we could help her with.. because i'd be all for that :) ”

    • “ This was a fun event and is a great event for existing members but i think it is a bit intimidating socially for new members. We seemed to have a few new members and i observed them struggling to communicate because of the noise. ”
