Compared with other vegetables, where is broccoli on the spectrum?

"As far as I know broccoli is nutritious. I would not compare it to other vegetables as each vegetable has its own characteristic. I believe that following a rainbow colour of fruits and vegetables can be a great way to ensure health."

How would you make other vegetarians comfortable, at home, and at ease in your company? What if you didn't know them and this is your first encounter with one another?

"I would cook vegan food. That would be a start, lol. I would also just be myself; friendly, have my ears open, respond. Talk about them. If I didn't know them then I would introduce myself and talk about a movie I had just seen. Easy territory."

What's the tastiest vegetable?

"I like most of them. Red peppers are nice. Carrots are cool as well. I'd say any vegetable that is sweet. Sweet potatoes? This is not an easy question, lol."

What are the benefits of attending vegetarian and/or vegan meetup events?

"The awareness. It's all about educating each other and the public about ways we can reduce cruelty and increase our compassion."

Additional information:

"One of the most important issues right now in our group is the rodeo in our city possibly becoming legal again. At the same time we will be having "Meat is Murder" campaigns and distributing vegetarian literature."
